Hi there, fellow editor!

Looking to discover a place full of connection, possibilities, and support? The Networking Studio was created by two freelance editors who wanted to help other editors not only "survive" but "thrive."

Our editing community helps you learn what you need to know right now and what you can tack on later to succeed as a freelance editor.

Who are our members? They are heroines and heroes of the networking success stories we tell. Our members

  • understand the struggles and successes of being a freelance editor

  • share and give experience-based feedback on how to scale and grow your editing business

  • ask the difficult questions and give thoughtful answers—without judgment

  • create and share opportunities and resources

  • build community, cultivate success, and inspire self-confidence.

Come for the courses, stay for the community.

Joining TNS was one of the best decisions I made toward the beginning of my freelance editing career. Brittany and Linda are generous with their time and expertise, and bring in other fascinating experts in the editing industry for personal, small group sessions. This community is nothing but supportive and we build each other up, ask for advice, and have fun, too. I even met a colleague with whom I started a Mastermind Group!

Julia, nonfiction editor (Seattle)
